Project Description:
Agriculture, as one of the five priority areas of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, has made progress and solidly promoted cooperation and exchanges with Lancang-Mekong countries in the field of smart agriculture. Lancang-Mekong region smart agriculture training courses were held, and EED experts were invited to give lectures on the training courses.

EED experts provided detailed introduction to China's agricultural and rural policies and systems, as well as the development of various smart agricultural technologies. They discussed potential of smart agricultural technology in comprehensive management of agricultural and rural environment and used examples to showcase the current achievements. In addition, they specifically detailed the role of smart agriculture in promoting the management of agricultural non-point source pollution, rural water quality pollution, and domestic waste pollution.
