Recently, the Wrap-up Meeting of the World Bank Loan Guangxi Rural Poverty Alleviation Pilot Project, sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and undertaken by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Revitalization Foreign Capital Project Development Center, was successfully held. As the joint project management consulting institution, Beijing Energy and Environment Technology Development Center (EED) and the Poverty Alleviation Research Institute of Renmin University of China helped the project obtain the highest rating of "Highly Satisfactory" from the World Bank. Based on this outstanding achievement, EED recently won the bid again for the "Foreign-funded Reserve Project Proposal Compilation Service" project of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Rural Revitalization Foreign Capital Project Development Center, and will continue to provide professional technical support for Guangxi's rural revitalization investment promotion work.

Professional Services Gain International Recognition with Remarkable Project Achievements

At the project summary and sharing meeting, the representative of the client highly recognized EED's professional service capabilities. Launched in 2019 and successfully concluded in 2024, the project covers 10 counties/districts, 72 towns, and 139 administrative villages in Guangxi, including 132 former poor villages (now lifted out of poverty), with a total population of 316,000. The joint team of EED and the Poverty Alleviation Research Institute of Renmin University of China innovatively built three core systems: market-oriented industrial poverty alleviation, localization of international standards, and a digital empowerment long-term mechanism, providing strong support for the smooth implementation of the project.

Recently, EED has gained the client's trust again and successfully won the bid for the "Foreign-funded Reserve Project Proposal Compilation Service" project of the Foreign-funded Project Development Center for Rural Revitalization of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
