EED used the method of data collection, site visit, demonstration and analysis to analyze and evaluate the causes of COD exceeding the standard in the wastewater discharged from the main discharge of Dongguashan Copper Mine and the rationality of the rectification work.

The authenticity and reliability of the basic information of Dongguashan Copper mine was analyzed through site visits and understanding of the production process, underground water source and treatment, online monitoring of the main outlet and site management, and data collection of the layout of Dongguashan Copper Mine and the laying of the rain and sewage pipe network.

Through the investigation of the leakage point of Dongguashan Copper mine, the monitoring data of domestic sewage, underground water and waste water before and after exceeding the standard were analyzed, and the causes of exceeding the standard of COD in the waste water discharged from the total discharge of Dongguashan Copper Mine were analyzed.

Based on the water quality test report after the rectification of the problem, and the rectification measures and plans carried out by Dongguashan Copper Mine, the scientific and effectiveness of the rectification work was evaluated.
